Jean-Claude Balland is a high-technology marketing executive, consultant, professor, and lecturer with extensive experience in sales and marketing management in Europe, the United States, and Japan for technology products. Jean-Claude helps companies develop breakthrough offerings and strategies. He is an adjunct professor at OHSU School of Engineering and Computer Sciences and at Portland State University where he teaches Technology Marketing and other courses related to creating breakthrough products. Prior to his present occupation, Jean-Claude was Director of Internet Marketing at Mentor Graphics Corporation. He worked nineteen years at Tektronix, Inc. and left after several years as the Division Marketing Manager of a large and highly successful division.
Jean-Claude holds an EE from INSA, in Lyons, France and a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Lyons, France.
